Linking Associated Accounts to prevent Sybil exploitation and Reward Loyalty

As a long term user of the Tinyman protocol I am suggesting Tinyman create a database for customers to self report accounts. A transaction would be required to prove ownership. Any criteria used to allocate $TINY could then be applied to the self reported cluster and any airdrop allocated would be per user not per account.

Many long term Tinyman users have multiple accounts. These accounts have the potential to be flagged as sybil accounts and depending on Tinyman’s criteria could be disqualified unfairly. While it is important that Tinyman take measures to minimize allocations to sybil accounts just looking to ‘farm and move on’ there are many legitimate reasons for users to have multiple accounts.

Many Algorand users switched accounts after the myalgo hack and many traders have reasons to use multiple accounts to complement their strategy. A system of self reported clusters would make it easy for Tinyman to assess real users with multiple accounts vs sybil bots looking for multiples of a minimum allocation.

Hi @flaneur66 , thank you for your proposal.

We will ensure a fair distribution of the Tinyman airdrop. All snapshots have already been taken.

If any users have multiple accounts, they will be eligible for the airdrop for each of their accounts. Thanks to that, none of the users will lose any eligibility overall if they may have been effected by the “MyAlgoWallet” hack.

When were the snapshots taken?

Maybe Tinyman should think about creating a reputation system.

Hi @nho , could you please specify what exactly you mean by that?

I am disappointed that my suggestion was not taken into account. This would have prevented the bot farm that got 12000 or so min airdrops by taking advantage of decision to allocate to every account that interacted with Tinyman. The start is so important, it could have been avoided. Loyal customers have been marginalized
