Who are the admins/mods on the forum? We should have a pinned section highlighting the community behind the upkeep of the forums. Or a tagline highlighting them. Also relevant social accounts for contacting them.
Second:
I have a post here on site improvements. Mods should give it a peek.
Third:
Post here about creating a subsection for govs to work together and collaborate. Decentralized doesn’t mean ALONE. Tinyman will not survive with apathetic governance. An example is I’ve been pushing for greater focus on multi-ecosystem partner pairings, fassets as opposed to the underlying vanilla asset, to drive more liquidity to Folks Finance and multiplying our economic boost across Algorand’s network.
Fourth:
I think we should have a committee of a few members that we could petition to send out updates directly through the Tinyman Governance UI. They could review and push through updates about forum-related things. Such as proposals and discussions that need community input. I’ve been fighting an inactive userbase here for a bit trying to get a community treasury proposal pushed through.](Tinyman Investment Future Fund *clarification* - #17 by NerdyForDesign)
Again I get it, neither Tinyman or Algorand has had great price action. Excitement is pretty hard to come by recently. However building something great takes effort. It takes community. If we want Algorand and Tinyman to succeed we have to be willing to put in the work ourselves in building community worth investing in.
I am still here and ready to push, but honestly I wait until VCs have sold all their TINY. Bit pointless to put much effort right now when they are dumping constantly all tokens they get from scheduled unlocks. And what I have understood, many things the same way as I do. So feels like Tinyman is now in hibernation mode until VCs are out and can’t nuke us anymore.
In the meantime I suppose I’ll work on trying to lure more into the tiny/usdc pool. Threw a full 2M Tiny Power behind that pool this go-round – it’s currently down to $27k.
I did mention what I learned about the importance of the tiny/usdc LP you stated here to another and I at least got one more Gov to back it over Algo/tiny. A 50-60% farming APR will either lure more to the pool or pump my tiny rewards that I’ll just put back into the tiny/usdc LP anyway soooo win-win for growing the pool.
But I can’t personally think of a better place to put your tiny given the price action and the general crypto market atm. I also sent out another batch of messages to govs via tinydrops to try and get some people to pop in here.
I looked this up a while ago, VC’s still have a way to go selling wise, assuming they dump all their Tiny as unlocked, assuming Cryptorank info can be trusted it looks like we are about halfway through their unlocks with mid 2027 being the end point of seed-round unlocks.
I admit I don’t exactly know the relationship to how useful other tiny/lp pairings are to the tiny token compared to the relatively easy tiny/USDC pairing, @ROAM, except that obviously if goBTC or Silver etc rise in price more tiny flows into the pool as it re-balances and that would seemingly be useful for soaking up demand.
