Hi. I was wondering about a graveyard/locked section for posts to be moved to by mods either that didn’t work, didn’t meet rules/requirements, or just is long-long past it’s conclusion (say a year old with no active posts on it). Or one that has long been implemented.
That way posts don’t get deleted but it does tidy up the look of everything a bit.
An example would be old gov proposals that didn’t pass or there was a withdraw of the idea.
Or topics that at the time weren’t relevant.
I used to mod simple game clan and RP forums a long time ago and to preserve post counts and history we would move them to an entirely new graveyard section and lock them after so long as a spring-cleaning thing or at the request of the poster(s).
Dunno. Just a thought.
I was also wondering about it being possible to forum “teams” / “Groups” of users on the forum for easy communication in regards to working together.
I don’t know know the skill set we as govs have but I’m sure some of us might overlap in interests that could be beneficial for the group (advertising, design, art stuff to drive branding etc, but also just general knowlage, writers who can work on blog posts together pushing Tinyman’s adoption, etc). Just a simple way for us as a group to get in touch with others and work out stuff for the good of us all as govs and tinyman users.
I’m a big proportionate on “decentrlized” not meaning “alone”. One of the appealing factors to me in the ethos of decentralization is the idea of many people coming together to build something greater than what we might be able to accomplish alone.
